Feng Shui and Vastu: Similarities and Differences

Both systems aim to balance the energy of a space, but they come from different traditions.

• Vastu is rooted in Indian architecture and works with eight directions and five elements.
• Feng Shui comes from China and uses the Bagua map and five elements of its own.
• Both value clutter-free spaces, good light and a welcoming entrance.

We use Feng Shui ideas only where they agree with the Vastu reading of a home.
